About the Triple P Positive Parenting Seminar Series .....
You are definitely not alone if you find parenting/caregiving one of the most difficult lifetime challenges.
Parents/caregivers can have an enormous influence on their children’s overall health and wellbeing during childhood and beyond. The way you parent definitely matters!
What is it?
The Seminar Series is designed to give parents and caregivers an understanding of the basics of positive parenting. The in-person series will be facilitated by two Thunder Bay District Health Unit Public Health Nurses and will address some of the most common parenting and behavioural issues families face.
When is it?
The Triple P Seminar Series will be held on May 15,22 and 29, 2024 (Wednesday evenings between 5:30 and 7:30 pm) at Algonquin Avenue Public School (160 Algonquin Ave S., Thunder Bay) - There is limited childcare available.
A light meal (usually pizza) will be provided (includes children and attendees)
Who is it for?
Seminars provide brief help for parents or caregivers who are generally coping well but have one or two concerns with their child's behaviour or development.
Seminars are suitable for parents/caregivers of children aged 2 to 12 years.
